Beekeeping Taster Day Sunday 18th February 2024

Learn about the fascinating world of honey bees and beekeeping. These one day courses are designed to get a feel for what beekeeping is all about.
 
The day will cover an introduction to the life of the honeybee, the structure of a hive and where these should be sited.
 
We will look at the equipment needed to become a beekeeper and discuss the products of the hive. The day will conclude on what to do next to become a beekeeper.
 
The coursewill be held on Sunday February 18th 2024  at Newstead Village Hall near Melrose (TD6 9DX) from 10 am to 4 pm
